Four groups consisting of the festival’s singers and pianists will perform the daily Café Concerts at 12 o’clock in the period July 8 – 20, except for July 14. This is also the occasion where we proudly present the Young Talents of the Year – Evita Engdahl, flute, Nora Arentz Hagen, soprano, Gustav Skatteboe, vocalist, Julian Cach, cello, and Magnus Lille Haugen and Ola Sønstebø in Motus Percussion Duo. Nice luncheon courses and drinks are served by Unike Hoteller’s pleasant staff. This is the place to meet new festival friends, and where we’re really underlining our motto: Giving life a lift!

CAFÉ ITALIANO  July 8 – 10 – 16 at 12.00

At Café Italiano Oda Nysæther, Lucia Cervoni, Ole Morten Velde, Bernhard Greter – and Unike Hoteller – are serving the loveliest Italian music and delicious luncheon courses! Evita Engdahl – who is one of the Young Talents of the Year – decorates with the most elegant flute music.

CAFÉ MIDTÅSEN  July 9 – 15 – 18 at 12.00

Mathilde Salmi Marjavara and Jørgen Backer, together with the pianist Bernhard Greter, present a programme that suites the lovely site at Midtåsen perfectly. You will also meet two Young Talents of the Year – the singers Nora Arentz Hagen and Gustav Skatteboe – and you are bound to encounter some new festival friends!

CAFÉ MOMUS  July 11 – 13 – 20 at 12.00

Café Momus is one of the most famous restaurants in the world of classical music. Here – and at other well known establishments – you may join the singers Louise Engeseth, Renate Ekerhovd and Simen Bredesen for the most lovely experience together with the pianist Olga Jørgensen and the cellist Julian Cach – who is one of the Young Talents of the Year.

CAFÉ HVALEN  July 12 – 17 – 19 at 12.00

Filip Håkestad and Sakarias Tranvåg have heard a lot about Sandefjord and whale hunting from their granddads. They also know quite a lot about the town’s earlier musical life – but get a little bit confused when it comes to the whale and music. Especially when the singing young girl Sunniva Fevang appears – accompanied by Olga Jørgensen. But – together with Motus Percussion Duo, they’ll really hit the big drum!
